Indeed. I'd probably try Shift-R (:reload --force) first. If that doesn't help,
quit qutebrowser and remove ~/.cache/qutebrowser.

If that doesn't help either, can you show your ":open qute://configdiff"
please? Often, one of the content.* settings is the offender ;-)
